Job summary

CALRegional is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician Lead Instructor in Pasadena, CA to educate and mentor students across the Pharmacy Technician field, preparing them for a 120-hour externship in retail or hospital settings.

The role requires CA licensure, 3 years in pharmacy, and the ability to teach with energy and clarity. Hybrid schedule includes in-person and remote days, offering weekday morning and evening options.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the State of California.
• 3 years of experience in the Pharmacy field.
• Teaching and/or supervisory experience desirable.
• Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately.
• Efficient with computers and technology.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Must understand all Pharmacy related medical math concepts and be able to teach them to class.

Responsibilities

• Instructing students in all aspects of the Pharmacy Technician Field.
• Reporting and recording student performance and progress.
• Preparing students in 182 hours of class time, to go on to a 120-hour externship in a retail or hospital Pharmacy.
• Assisting students to develop an understanding of values, attitudes, and ideas appropriate to the health care profession.
• Providing a professional role model for students.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self‑motivated part‑time Pharmacy Technician Lead Instructor to join our team. We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce! Weekday morning and evening schedules are available.

Hybrid Schedule: 9:00am- 1:00 pm

In Person: Monday, Wednesday, Friday | Remote: Tuesday, Thursday

Location: Pasadena, CA
