Job summary

CALRegional in Pasadena, CA is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician Lead Instructor to train the next generation of pharmacy professionals. You will teach all aspects of the technician field, assess student progress, and prepare them for a 120-hour externship after completing 182 hours of class time.

The role requires CA-licensed pharmacy technicians with at least 3 years in the field; teaching experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in CA is required.
• 3 years of experience in pharmacy field.
• Teaching or supervisory experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in all aspects of Pharmacy Technician field.
• Report and record student performance and progress.
• Prepare students in 182 hours of class time for a 120-hour externship.
• Help students develop values and attitudes appropriate to healthcare.
• Provide a professional role model for students.
