Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. This role involves prescription filling, IV preparation, packaging, data entry, inventory management, and coordinating deliveries.

Candidates should have attention to detail, solid computer skills, and the ability to work under supervision in a busy pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• Experience with prescription filling, IV preparation, medication packaging, or pharmacy operations is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter prescription and billing information.
• Ability to work effectively under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Work with the Billing Supervisor to enter prescription information into the computer system and assist with reimbursement processing.
• Prepackage medications for dispensing in accordance with pharmacy standards and applicable government regulations.
• Assist the Pharmacist with final prescription checking by preparing medications for RPh review and packaging medications following final approval.
• Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and rotating incoming medications and pharmacy supplies.
• Maintain accurate lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Assist with physical inventory and inventory control activities.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
• Work with the Technician Supervisor to ensure equipment is properly calibrated, safe, and clean.
• Follow pharmacy procedures, safety requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
