A healthcare facility is seeking a Technician I to assist in preparing and distributing medications under the supervision of pharmacists. Responsibilities include ensuring the safe delivery of medications, maintaining a clean environment, and supporting daily pharmacy activities. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, along with certification from the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy. Experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.

Qualifications

• Responsible for handling cash related to selling prescriptions or other pharmacy items.
• Pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepares medications according to physician orders.
• Utilizes aseptic technique in the IV room to prepare sterile products.
• Selects prescription items for customers and rings transactions.
• Transports medications ensuring timely delivery.
• Assists the Pharmacist in daily activities.
• Maintains a safe and orderly environment.
