Job summary

Senior Care Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support packaging, labeling and delivery preparation under a pharmacist's supervision. The candidate should have a High School Diploma, valid Pharmacy Technician registration, and at least 1 year of related experience; IV experience is a plus.

Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required. Strong attention to detail and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician registration/certification required per state.
• 1 year as a Pharmacy Technician or related experience preferred.
• IV experience preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent organization and multitasking in a dynamic environment.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Basic computer skills; Excel and Word experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and harmoniously with staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with packaging, labeling and preparation for delivery of medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain inventory and assist with environmental controls per regulations.
• Label prescriptions accurately with cautionary and auxiliary labels.
• Process medications returned for credit or destruction.
• Prepare medications for delivery to customers.
• Support compliance with HIPAA and safety policies.
• Provide great customer service to internal and external customers.
