Adventist Health Sierra Vista in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy team on the night shift. You will assist pharmacists, fill unit dose cassettes, and support medication distribution to nursing units in this SEIU-represented role.

Minimum requirements include a State Pharmacy Technician license with preferred ASHP/board certification. The position emphasizes accuracy, inventory control, and adherence to regulatory guidelines within a 162-bed acute care

Qualifications

State Pharmacy Technician license is required.
Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification is preferred.
State Pharmacy Technician license is required.

Responsabilités

Pull medications from stock and match medications with labels generated by the pharmacist.
Maintain floor stock in nursing and medication areas; restock and rotate stock; price and stock incoming deliveries.
Prepare IV medications within applicable laws and regulations.
Check in orders from wholesalers; distribute stock and file paperwork; process returns and back orders promptly.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
