Job summary

Integrated Home Care Services (IHCS) seeks a Pharmacy Technician – IV Compounding to join our infusion team. You will prepare intravenous medications per physician orders, adhere to sterile compounding standards, and collaborate with pharmacists in a busy, patient‑focused environment.

Requirements include 3+ years IV compounding, CPhT certification, EMR/EHR proficiency, and strong communication. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of pharmacy tech IV compounding experience.
• Proficient in sterile compounding and USP 797.
• CPhT certification required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

What will you be doing:

As a Pharmacy Technician – IV Compounding, you will support Pharmacy Infusion Services by accurately and safely preparing intravenous medications in accordance with physician orders, established pharmacy procedures, and applicable sterile compounding standards. This role requires close attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to patient safety and quality. The ideal candidate is a Certified Pharmacy Technician with at least three years of IV compounding experience who can effectively manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.

What will you will need to succeed:

• 3+ years of pharmacy tech IV compounding experience
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
• CPhT Certification
