Job summary

Integrated Home Care Services (IHCS) is seeking a Pharmacy Technician – IV Compounding to accurately and safely prepare intravenous medications according to physician orders and established procedures.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of IV compounding experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with pharmacists and healthcare professionals in a fast-paced home care setting.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician with at least three years of IV compounding experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use EMR/EHR software.
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare intravenous medications accurately and safely per physician orders and sterile compounding standards.
• Support Pharmacy Infusion Services and collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.

What will you be doing:

As a Pharmacy Technician – IV Compounding, you will support Pharmacy Infusion Services by accurately and safely preparing intravenous medications in accordance with physician orders, established pharmacy procedures, and applicable sterile compounding standards. This role requires close attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to patient safety and quality. The ideal candidate is a Certified Pharmacy Technician with at least three years of IV compounding experience who can effectively manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.

What will you will need to succeed:

• 3+ years of pharmacy tech IV compounding experience
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
