Job summary

Integrated Home Care Services, Inc. seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support Pharmacy Infusion Services by accurately preparing intravenous medications in accordance with orders and sterile standards.

This role requires careful attention to detail and collaboration with pharmacists in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of IV compounding experience, CPhT certification, and strong communication skills; bilingual Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician with at least three years of IV compounding experience.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and pharmacy software.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely preparing intravenous medications per physician orders.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Pharmacy Technician - IV Compounding, you will support Pharmacy Infusion Services by accurately and safely preparing intravenous medications in accordance with physician orders, established pharmacy procedures, and applicable sterile compounding standards. This role requires close attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to patient safety and quality. The ideal candidate is a Certified Pharmacy Technician with at least three years of IV compounding experience who can effectively manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Need To Succeed:

• 3+ years of pharmacy tech IV compounding experience
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
• CPhT Certification

Experience:

• 2 year(s): Working in sterile environment USP 797
• Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
• CPhT Certification
