Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks a Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 2- Item Entry to enter prescriptions in ePost and support downstream processing. Responsibilities include varied administrative tasks, computations, and achieving production/quality targets.

The role offers remote work with occasional travel to Humana offices and requires residing in the U.S. states of Florida, Arizona or Ohio. Must hold an active Pharmacy Technician license in FL/AZ/OH and have 1+ year of pharmacy experience in retail,

Qualifications

• Active license/registration as a Pharmacy Technician in FL, AZ or OH.
• 1+ year experience in retail, clinical or mail order pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support tasks.
• Perform computations and ensure accuracy in item entry.

The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 2- Item Entry performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Perform computations. Meet or exceed department production and quality goals/metrics. Interpret area/department policy and methods to complete assignments. Work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards. Works under minimal direction with independent discretion. Use your skills to make an impact.

Required Qualifications

• Must have an active license/registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of Florida, Arizona or Ohio


• 1 or more years of experience in retail, clinical or mail order pharmacy setting


• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• National certification through PTCB CphT or NHA ExCPT

Additional Information

• Work Hours: 8-hour shift Monday-Friday typically sometime between the hours of 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. within your time zone (Based on business need)


• Overtime (Can include late evenings or weekends) based on needs.


• Work Style: Remote (Must live in the state of Florida, Arizona or Ohio)


• Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
