Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician with PTCB certification.
• Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy registration.
• BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hospital medication inventory and par levels.
• Manage PYXIS inventory and accurate loading.
• Record refrigerator temperatures and logs.
• Prepare medications with proper labeling and unit-dose packaging.
• Communicate with nursing, physicians, and staff to support pharmacy needs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and policy adherence.
• Participate in annual controlled-substance and hospital inventories.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and data integrity.
• Operate equipment safely and follow safety protocols.
