Job summary

Day and evening shifts rotate, with responsibilities ensuring accurate labeling, tracking, and compliant handling of medications. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent or completion of an accredited PT program with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; formal pharmacy tech program preferred.
• Two years of pharmacy technician experience acceptable with program completion.

Responsibilities

• Fill medication orders with accurate labeling and stocking.
• Prepare oral and injectable meds, including aseptic technique for cytotoxic drugs.
• Assist in sterile compounding and maintain proper records.
• Distribute medications and manage medication cassettes and carts.
• Answer drug information questions and refer to staff pharmacists as needed.
• Maintain secure storage and compliance with health regulations.
