Qualifications

• Must be credentialed with Kansas Board of Pharmacy.
• Preferred: Certified Pharmacy Technician from the PTCB.
• 2 years of cumulative experience required or equivalent degree.

We Are Hiring

• Department: Inpatient Services
• Schedule: Rotating 630am-3pm, 730am-2pm or 830-4pm.
• Hospital: Mercy Regional Health Center
• Location: 1823 College Avenue Manhattan, KS. 66502

What You Will Do

Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist.

• Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
• Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department.
• Repackage bulk medications.
• Receive and store incoming supplies.
• Serve as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professional by providing information as necessary.

What You Will Need

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Kansas Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Registered Pharmacy Tech OR Pharmacy Intern credentialed from the Kansas Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
