Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is seeking a Part-Time Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support care delivery in a hospital setting. Shifts are 12 hours with a rotating schedule, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Fills and delivers medications under supervision of a licensed pharmacist/licensed independent practitioner.
• Ensures adequate supplies are available for continuous patient care.
• Triages and escalates questions outside the technician scope as needed.
• Uses appropriate systems for processing patient information.
• Maintains QA according to departmental and legal requirements.
• Operates pharmacy equipment appropriately.
• Additional duties as assigned.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $23.50 - $36.36 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
