MaineHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in a training capacity at Maine Medical Center. The role supports pharmacists, other technicians, and the care team in medication handling across the pharmacy practice area. You will work under a trainer/mentor and perform competencies already completed in coursework and on-the-job training.

The Pharmacy Technician role will function in a training capacity, working alongside a trainer/mentor while completing their job responsibilities in their respective pharmacy practice area. The role will assist pharmacists, other pharmacy technicians, and the care team in the storage, distribution, preparation, and handling of medications within MaineHealth. The Pharmacy Technician will only perform competencies that they have completed in their knowledge-based courses and on the job training and are qualified to perform alongside a technician trainer/mentor or pharmacist.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
