Job summary

CVS Health in Virginia is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our retail team, supporting pharmacists in daily operations, patient care, and service excellence. You’ll help ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, follow SOPs, and deliver caring service in a fast-paced environment.

As needed, you may travel to other market stores to support coverage, participate in immunization programs where permitted, and complete required training to maintain licensure and certification.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements, licensure/certification.
• Minimum age 16 if state board does not mandate a minimum age.
• State licensure and national certification vary by state; see guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists in health care delivery.
• Follow prescription workflow for safe, accurate fulfillment and labeling.
• Provide empathetic patient service and assist with immunizations where permitted.
• Assist with basic inventory tasks and medication deliveries as directed.
• Support a high-performing team and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel to market stores as needed.
