Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician in Charlotte, NC. Be part of a coordinated care team, dispensing prescriptions and supporting clerical tasks under a Pharmacist's supervision.

Responsibilities include customer service, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Eligible candidates have NC technician licensure, national certification, and driving eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NC Pharmacy Technician license.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clinic staff.
• Fill prescriptions and prepare for verification under supervision of Pharmacist.
• Order, receive and store pharmacy supplies.
• Process wholesaler medication orders and maintain inventory.
• Assist pharmacist with pharmacy functions and comply with federal/state requirements.
• Perform clerical duties for the department.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Occasionally deliver to post office or bank.
