Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering prompt, safe, and accurate prescriptions while providing compassionate patient service.

You will work closely with pharmacists, perform routine inventory tasks, and participate in immunization services where allowed by state law and training. The role requires adherence to SOPs and regulatory guidelines, including privacy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or be enrolled in high school or equivalent.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacists to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient service.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences with empathy and caring at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Complete basic inventory activities and follow SOPs for medication handling.
• Support immunizations and other health services where permitted and trained.
• Maintain compliance with safety, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
