Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe and efficient prescription fulfillment and patient care. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where permitted, and help ensure accuracy and empathy in every patient interaction.

Responsibilities include supporting the pharmacy workflow, handling inventory duties, and maintaining compliance with state regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to safe and effective pharmacy operations and assist Pharmacists with patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathy and care to patients, assist with immunizations and other services where allowed.
• Perform basic inventory activities and assist with cycle counts and restocking.
