Job summary
Lees Marketplace is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Utah to support the pharmacy team under a licensed pharmacist. You will assist with filling, labeling, and data entry, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and excellent guest service.
The role requires Utah licensure, a high school diploma, and a willingness to complete necessary trainings. Prior pharmacy experience is a plus, with opportunities for growth in a friendly, community-focused environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Utah Pharmacy Technician license.
- Must complete required state and company trainings (HIPAA, etc.).
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in filling and labeling prescriptions accurately.
- Input prescription and insurance information into the pharmacy system.
- Prepare and count medications as directed by the pharmacist.
- Handle third-party insurance billing, rejections, and COB.
- Greet and assist guests at the pharmacy counter with confidentiality.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment.
