Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient care in retail stores. The role involves assisting immunization services, handling inventory, and maintaining safety and privacy standards.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, assisting across pharmacy workstations, and providing empathetic customer service while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and CVS policies.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or licensure/certification.
• If state board does not require minimum age, must be at least 16.
• If no educational requirement is specified, must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists with patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe, accurate prescription fulfilment.
• Provide empathetic patient service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Assist basic inventory activities and cycle counts.
• Support a high-performing team and be open to feedback.
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores as needed.
• Comply with relevant federal, state, and local laws and CVS policies.
• Deliver additional health care services where allowed (e.g., immunizations).
• Learn licensure requirements to obtain Technician Immunizer status.
