Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient care in-store. You will work within SOPs to ensure high‑quality service and help patients access medications efficiently.

As part of the role, you may assist with immunizations and other health services where allowed, manage inventory, and collaborate with pharmacists to protect patient safety.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including licensure/certification
• State-level licensure and national certification vary by state
• Must complete required training within designated timeframe
• Ability to obtain Technician Immunizer status where allowed by law

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Assist patients with exceptional service and empathetic care
• Follow SOPs and procedures at each workstation
• Perform basic inventory duties like stocking, cycle counts and returns-to-stocks
• Deliver immunizations and point-of-care testing where permitted by law
• Travel to stores in the market to support business needs
