Job summary

CVS Health is seeking Pharmacy Technicians to support our pharmacy teams in providing safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate care in our Retail locations. Technicians follow SOPs, assist pharmacists, and help ensure patient safety and a positive experience.

Responsibilities include handling inventory, supporting immunizations where allowed, and traveling to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• High school diploma or equivalent if state rules do not mandate a minimum age.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists with patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic customer service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Conduct basic inventory activities and cycle counts as directed.
• Deliver immunizations and other services where allowed by law with required training.
• Be flexible to travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed.
• Comply with all federal, state, local laws and CVS policies to protect patient safety and privacy.
• Assist with additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager.
