Job summary

CVS Health Pharmacy Technician is part of our retail pharmacy team, supporting pharmacists in delivering accurate and timely prescription fulfillment. This role emphasizes patient-friendly service, safety, and adherence to SOPs while maintaining a compassionate approach across pick-up, drive-thru, and phone interactions.

You will complete required training, comply with state licensing, and may participate in immunizations and other health services as permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required or actively enrolled in high school/equivalent program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to safe and effective operations of the pharmacy.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist patients with empathy and care at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Assist with inventory activities and returns-to-stocks as directed by leadership.
• Support immunizations and other services as allowed by law and training.
