Job summary

HealthPoint in Bothell, WA is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our community health network. Under a pharmacist's supervision, you will handle non-clinical prescription support, data entry, insurance processing, immunizations, and inventory management.

You will maintain accurate records, prepare medications, assist with patient communications, and ensure compliance with DSCSA and state regulations while delivering high-quality care to diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician Certification from an accredited program.
• Completion of Technician Immunization Training Program (HealthPoint provides training after hire).
• Maintain current registration/licensure with Washington State as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medicines under pharmacist supervision, including data entry, insurance input, and labeling.
• Process third-party insurance claims and obtain prior authorizations as needed.
• Resolve insurance issues, check patient eligibility for 340B prescriptions when necessary.
• Communicate with medical providers and access EMR for needed information.
• Collect co-pays and perform cash register duties at the pharmacy counter.
• Order, receive, stock medications and manage inventory daily with DSCSA compliance.
