Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications in a busy hospital setting. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to all applicable regulations.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and active Missouri Pharmacy Technician registration or willingness to apply by day one, plus FBI background checks. Certification (CPhT) is required for Tech II/III levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalence exam.
• Willing to submit fingerprints for FBI background check.
• Actively registered with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit registration by first day of work.
• 1-year pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
• Successfully complete pharmacy department orientation.
• Tech II/Tech III require CPhT certification.

Responsabilités

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
• Follow federal, state, and local laws and regulations for patient safety.
• Support the supervising pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations.
