Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Pharmacy Technician III to assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications. The technician will work under the supervising pharmacist to ensure patient safety in compliance with applicable laws.

Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, active Missouri Pharmacy Technician registration (or willingness to register by day one), 3 years of relevant experience, and a certified technician credential (CPhT) per PTCB guidelines.

Formación

• Active Missouri Pharmacist Technician registration or willingness to register by first day.
• 3-year relevant pharmacy experience required for Tech III.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by PTCB preferred/required for Tech III.

Responsabilidades

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
• Follow applicable standards and federal, state & local laws and regulations for patient safety.

Educación

High School Diploma or equivalence exam.

Actively registered with Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit registration by first day of work.

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
