Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking Pharmacy Technicians to support pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations. This full-time role reports to the supervising pharmacist and ensures patient safety and high-quality care.

As Tech I/II/III, candidates must meet education requirements and obtain Missouri Board registration; experience ranges from entry to experienced levels with CPhT certification for higher levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalence required.
• Active Missouri Board of Pharmacy registration as a Pharmacy Technician or willingness to submit application by first day of work (including FBI background fingerprinting).
• 1 year of pharmacy experience preferred for Tech II; 3 years for Tech III.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
• Follow standards and laws for care and safety of customers and patients.
