Job summary
Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications in a busy hospital setting. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to all applicable regulations.
The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and active Missouri Pharmacy Technician registration or willingness to apply by day one, plus FBI background checks. Certification (CPhT) is required for Tech II/III levels.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalence exam.
- Willing to submit fingerprints for FBI background check.
- Actively registered with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit registration by first day of work.
- 1-year pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
- Successfully complete pharmacy department orientation.
- Tech II/Tech III require CPhT certification.
