Job summary
Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance. The role is full time and on-site.

Qualifications
- Tech I: High School Diploma; registration with Missouri Board of Pharmacy; fingerprints for FBI background check.
- Tech II: High School Diploma; active Missouri Pharmacy Technician registration; 1 year experience; FBI background check.
- Tech III: High School Diploma; active Missouri Pharmacy Technician registration; 3 years experience; CPhT certification.

The Pharmacy Technician III assists pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications and are accountable to the supervising pharmacist who is legally responsible for the care and safety of the patients served by the pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician III follows applicable standards and federal, state & local laws and regulations for the care and safety of the customers and patients served.
The Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications and are accountable to the supervising pharmacist who is legally responsible for the care and safety of the patients served by the pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician follows applicable standards and federal, state & local laws and regulations for the care and safety of the customers and patients served.

- Education: High School Diploma or equivalence exam.
- Licensure: Actively registered, in good standing, with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit application for registration by first day of work. This includes submitting fingerprints for FBI background check.
- Experience: 1-year relevant pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
- Other: Successfully complete pharmacy department orientation.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalence exam.
- Licensure: Actively registered, in good standing, with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit application for registration by first day of work. This includes submitting fingerprints for FBI background check.
- Experience: 1-year relevant pharmacy experience required; 2 years preferred.
- Certifications: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalence exam.
- Licensure: Actively registered, in good standing, with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit application for registration by first day of work. This includes submitting fingerprints for FBI background check.
- Experience: 3-year relevant pharmacy experience required
- Certifications: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
