Position Overview

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will:

  1. Compound and dispense medical prescriptions.
  2. Perform clerical duties as needed.
  3. Receive and store supplies, verify stock, and maintain inventory records in the computer system.
  4. Contribute to the efficient operation of the Pharmacy.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required). Pharmacy Tech training and an Associate's Degree are preferred.
  • Skills: Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently, and stress management skills.
  • Certifications: CPhT - Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred).
  • Licenses: Current Pharmacy Technician Registration in the State of Georgia.
  • Experience: Three (3) years of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
