Job summary

Mercy seeks a Pharmacy Technician to help ensure patients gain timely access to needed medications by completing and submitting prior authorization for Mercy Primary Care clinics. You will collaborate with teammates to support patient care and meet group goals.

Requirements include CPHT certification within 6 months, active state registration or willingness to apply, and EPIC experience preferred; retail pharmacy background is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPHT certification by the PTCB to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Active registration with the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willingness to apply by day one, including FBI background fingerprinting.
