Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires Maryland Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license.
• Pharmacy technician certification required within 18 months.
• Experience: Less than one year required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pharmacists to prepare medications, screen prescriptions, and supply patients with correctly filled medication orders.
• Handle storage, distribution, packaging and labeling of drugs.
• Perform associated record keeping and charging activities.
• Work under the supervision of a pharmacist and participate in performance improvement activities within Pharmacy and with other departments.
