Job summary

LifeBridge Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at Carroll Hospital in Westminster, MD. You will work with a pharmacist to prepare medications, screen prescriptions, and provide patients with correctly filled orders.

You will handle storage, distribution, packaging, labeling, and related record-keeping under supervision. Preferred candidates have a High School diploma or GED, and possess or are eligible for Maryland licensure and Pharmacy Technician certification.

Qualifications

• Less than one year experience in Pharmacy Technician or related role.
• Pharmacy Technician License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license.
• Pharm Tech Certification.

Responsibilities

• Works with pharmacist to prepare medications, screen prescriptions, and supply patients with correctly filled medication orders.
• Performs tasks involved with storage, distribution, packaging and labeling of drugs.
• Completes associated record keeping and charging activities.
• Works under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Participates in performance improvement activities within Pharmacy and with outside departments to identify and rectify problems.

Pay Range: $20.00 to $33.17 Based On Experience
