Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• MD technician registration or state intern certificate acceptable for eligible students.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in pharmacy settings.

Responsibilities

• Selects, packages, and labels medication and supplies for pharmacist approval.
• Processes medication orders with accurate data entry and verification.
• Maintains inventory levels and communicates stock needs.
• Uses order-entry and dispensing systems and BCMA as applicable.
• Delivers medications to patients and care areas per regulatory standards.
• Calculates, measures, and compounds medications per USP guidelines.

Education

High School Graduate or equivalent

Maryland Technician Registration or Maryland Pharmacy Intern Certificate or Pharmacy Student Technician Exemption Certificate

6 months experience

1 year experience preferred
