Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Maryland Technician Registration or Maryland Pharmacy Intern Certificate or Pharmacy Student Technician Exemption Certificate is acceptable for students enrolled and in good standing at an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• 6 months of experience required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select, package, and label medication and supply orders for pharmacist approval.
• Maintain and monitor inventory levels and inform stock needs and shortages.
• Use medical informatics, order-entry systems, automated dispensing devices and BCMA systems in daily duties.
• Deliver medications and pharmacy services to patients and care areas per regulatory standards.
• Calculate, measure and compound medications per USP guidelines.
• Collaborate with pharmacist and health care team on medication management needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
