What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Verify member information and accurately input data for pharmacists
- Educate members on pharmacy-related rules and medication assistance programs
- Process prior authorization requests and ensure compliance with Medicare and Medicaid
- Resolve grievances and appeals related to medication issues
- Respond to inquiries from patients, providers, and team members regarding medications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Active, professional license or certification as required by state law
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
