Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist Pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of medications in either the inpatient hospital setting or outpatient retail Pharmacy setting.

You will help fill orders and ensure they reach the correct inpatient unit or patient. Requires MA registration as a Pharmacy Technician or intern (Mass internship license) and PTCB certification or active student status.

Qualifications

• Certification or registration as a Pharmacy Technician per MA Board requirements.
• Experience in hospital or retail pharmacy settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with sterile compounding and medications handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacists in preparation and distribution of medications.
• Fill orders and ensure correct delivery to inpatient units or patients.
• Maintain inventory and inform supervisor of stock issues.
• Answer calls, triage requests and resolve questions or problems.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
