Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II for the Scripts Pharmacy in Orlando, FL. Full-Time, 40 hours per week, with Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM and Friday 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM.

You will assist with medication distribution, use Orlando Health software, maintain USP 797 standards, and participate in training and development.

This position requires a high school diploma, Florida Pharmacy Technician registration, and 1–4 years of pharmacy tech experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Maintains Florida Pharmacy Technician registration.
Greater than one year up to four years of experience.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates understanding of safety, emergency, and risk management procedures.
Demonstrates familiarity with hospital and Pharmacy department goals and customer service objectives.
Performs basic Pharmacy Technician procedures and drug procurement as required by the department.
Assists pharmacists with medication distribution including aseptic techniques for admixture and use of automated dispensing cabinets.
Maintains USP 797 standards and other regulatory documentation.
