Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License required.
• Board Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB CPhT or NHA ExCPT) required.
• Pharmacy technician experience 1–2 years required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, safety regulations, and controlled substances handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, fill, label, repackage, and distribute medications for pharmacist verification.
• Manage inventory, storage areas, automated dispensing cabinets, returns and recalls.
• Handle controlled substances and sterile compounded preparations per laws and policies.
• Operate robotics, automation, software, equipment and information systems to support pharmacy services.
• Maintain cleanroom standards, aseptic practices, documentation and competency testing.
