Job summary

Qualifications

• Board Certified Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB CPhT or NHA ExCPT) required.
• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license/registration required; New Hampshire registration must be obtained within six months of hire.
• ASHP Medication History Certificate required or must be completed within six months of hire.
• Pharmacy technician 1–2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, fill, label, repackage, and distribute medications and supplies accurately for pharmacist verification.
• Manage medication inventory, storage areas, automated dispensing cabinets, returns, recalls, and expired products.
• Handle controlled substances and sterile preparations per laws and policies.
• Operate robotics, automation, software, and information systems to support pharmacy services.
• Maintain cleanroom standards and support safety and quality initiatives.
• Assist with onboarding and training of junior staff and participate in department projects.
