Endeavor Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II - Inpatient at Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, IL. This full-time role involves rotating day and evening shifts, with weekends and holidays rotation, and is based at Elmhurst Hospital.

You will support pharmacists by preparing medications, maintaining inventory, and keeping accurate records under pharmacist supervision. A high school diploma and IL license (or eligible for certification paths) are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician license required.
• If not licensed, candidate must obtain CPhT within 90 days or meet CPhT/ExCPT eligibility criteria, or hold a student designation.

Hourly Pay Range:

$21.50 - $33.33 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Pharmacy Technician II - Inpatient
• Location: Elmhurst Hospital
• Full Time (40 hours/week)
• Hours: Rotating Days/Evenings. Required to rotate Day (6am or 7am start - 2pm -3pm) and Evening (3pm -11:30pm) shifts (8 hours shifts), rotating weekends and holidays.

What you will need:

• Education (Required):
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Certifications (Required):
  • Current License as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Illinois
  • One of the following must be met:
    • Current Pharmacy Technician Certification or must obtain CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) within 90 days of hire, or
    • Successfully passed the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) examination pending certification, or
    • Current Pharmacy Technician license with "Student" designation issued by the State of Illinois

Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records. Works under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
