Endeavor Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II - Inpatient for Elmhurst Hospital. This per diem role requires rotating day and evening shifts (6am or 7am start – 2pm -3pm) with rotating holidays, supporting pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications and maintaining records.

The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma or GED and an Illinois Pharmacy Technician license, with eligibility for PTCB/ExCPT or student designation within 90 days of hire.

Hourly Pay Range:

$21.50 - $33.33 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Pharmacy Technician II - Inpatient
• Location: Elmhurst Hospital
• Per Diem
• Hours: Rotating Days/Evenings. Required to rotate Day (6am or 7am start – 2pm -3pm) and Evening (2:30pm -11pm) shifts (8 hours shifts), rotating holidays.

What you will need:

• Education (Required):
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Certifications (Required):
  • Current License as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Illinois
  • One of the following must be met:
    • Current Pharmacy Technician Certification or must obtain CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) within 90 days of hire, or
    • Successfully passed the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) examination pending certification, or
    • Current Pharmacy Technician license with “Student” designation issued by the State of Illinois

Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records. Works under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
