Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II at Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL. This full-time day shift (40 hrs/wk) position offers a competitive hourly pay range and benefits.

You will assist pharmacists, manage medications and inventory, and work under a licensed pharmacist's supervision. Required IL Pharmacy Technician license or eligible for certification within 90 days; high school diploma or GED; IV room experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Pharmacy Technician license in Illinois required.
• Possession of CT, PTCB, ExCPT or Illinois Student designation may be accepted within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintains drug inventory and records; works under supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hourly Pay Range: $21.50 - $33.33 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

Position: Pharmacy Technician II

Inpatient Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL

Full Time (40 hrs/week)

Hours: Days 7am-330pm; every other weekend (Sat and Sun); 1/2 of the scheduled holidays required

What you will need

• Education (Required): High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Certifications (Required): Current License as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Illinois
• One of the following must be met: Current Pharmacy Technician Certification or must obtain CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) within 90 days of hire, or Successfully passed the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) examination pending certification, or Current Pharmacy Technician license with “Student” designation issued by the State of Illinois
• IV room experience preferred
