Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II - Infusion to prepare IV admixture solutions with precision under supervision. The role involves aseptic technique, data entry, and adherence to safety guidelines for chemotherapy handling, reporting to the Production Manager.
Required are a high school diploma, Maryland Board of Pharmacy registration and CPhT certification; six months infusion experience is preferred.
The Pharmacy Technician II - Infusion, under the direct supervision of the Production Manager or the Senior Director of Pharmaquip, prepares IV admixture solutions accurately, with the highest quality possible and, in a timely manner for clients. The Pharmacy Technician also participates in any other duties related to the dispensing of medications for which the job may require. Reports to the Production Manager.
Salary Range: Minimum $20.53/hour - Maximum $33.90/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
