Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Technician - Infusion for Johns Hopkins Care at Home in Baltimore, MD. The role supports patient orders, coordinates with the Team Pharmacist, documents communication, and helps manage equipment, deliveries, and reimbursement information.

Responsibilities include arranging deliveries with warehouse staff, updating Outlook and spreadsheets for Production Pharmacy planning, and performing other day-to-day tasks in a collaborative home-care

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
• Registration with Maryland Board of Pharmacy required.
• PTCB or NHA certification required.
• Five years of pharmacy technician experience required.

• Responds to orders from patients and Johns Hopkins Home Care Group personnel.
• Works closely with Team Pharmacist to care for patients.
• Ensures information is documented and communicated accurately and promptly.
• Provides information on equipment, supplies, service and reimbursement.
• Establishes lines of communication with JHHCG departments to handle inquiries.
• Arranges and tracks patient deliveries with warehouse staff.
• Inputs daily deliveries into Outlook Calendar and a spreadsheet for Production Pharmacy planning.
• Performs other duties as part of day-to-day operations.

The Clinical Pharmacy Technician - Infusion provides courteous and efficient service to internal and external customers. Responds to orders from patients and Johns Hopkins Home Care Group personnel, specifically works closely with their Team Pharmacist to care for patients. Ensures that all information is documented and communicated accurately and promptly. Provides information on equipment, supplies, service and reimbursement. Establishes communication lines with JHHCG departments in order to effectively manage inquiries. Works with warehouse personnel to arrange and organize patient deliveries. Inputs daily deliveries into Outlook Calendar and onto a spreadsheet for Production Pharmacy planning.

. The CPT also participates in other duties related to the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Certified (PTCB or NHA)
• Five (5) years pharmacy technician experience required

Salary Range: Minimum 20.53/hour - Maximum 33.90/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
