Freeman Springdale Hospital is seeking a pharmacy technician to assist in all pharmacy operations under the direct supervision of the pharmacist. You will participate in preparation and distribution of medications, inventory maintenance, and patient record documentation.

The position is full-time with potential for irregular hours and a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in Arkansas.
• BS in Pharmacy preferred.
• BCPS certification preferred.

What You'll Do

Working under the direct supervision of the pharmacist, the pharmacy tech assists in all pharmacy operation functions related to: preparation & distribution of all doses of medication; maintenance of drug inventories ( stocking auto dispensing cabinets in the facility, drug packaging, extemporaneous compounding, code cart re-stock); and completions of patients records pertaining to drug therapy (aminoglycoside protocol orders, drug charges & credits.

Requirements

Licensed Pharmacist in Arkansas.

Pharmacy PreferredExperience

• BS in Pharmacy


• BCPS certification with ID qualifications Preferred.
