Freeman Health System in Springdale, AR is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in all operations, including preparation and distribution of medications and inventory management. The role includes extemporaneous compounding, code cart restocking, and maintaining patient drug-therapy records.

Requirements: completion of a certified pharmacy tech program and national certification. Preferred: HS diploma and 3 years of hospital pharmacy tech experience.

Schedule: FULL-TIME

SHIFT: 2:00pm-10:30pm

May be occasionally subject to irregular hours.

What You'll Do

Working under the direct supervision of the pharmacist, the pharmacy tech assists in all pharmacy operation functions related to: preparation & distribution of all doses of medication; maintenance of drug inventories ( stocking auto dispensing cabinets in the facility, drug packaging, extemporaneous compounding, code cart re-stock); and completions of patients records pertaining to drug therapy (aminoglycoside protocol orders, drug charges & credits.

Requirements

• Completion of certified pharmacy tech program

• National Technician Certification required.

Pharmacy Preferred Experience:

• High School diploma or GED

• 3 years hospital pharmacy technician experience
