Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician program is required.
• Requires at least two years of experience in a pharmacy environment, with at least one year in a retail setting.
• Must possess a valid CPhT Certification and be licensed by the AZ State Board of Pharmacy.
• Must have a fingerprint clearance card and complete related steps within the stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in the preparation, filling, and delivery of medications.
• Serve as a liaison to ensure timely delivery of information and pharmaceutical products to customers.
• May perform typing of prescriptions, completing reports, operating automated dispensing devices, inputting computer data, and providing all aspects of customer service in the Pharmacy Department.
