Position Overview

This role supports clinical staff by managing medication logistics within a correctional facility clinic, including ordering, inventory, record-keeping, and coordination with pharmacy and nursing staff.

Responsibilities
  1. Order, receive, and route prescriptions under supervision
  2. Maintain medication inventory and records
  3. Collaborate with staff to ensure adequate stock levels
  4. Train new employees on pharmacy computer systems
  5. Ensure continuity of care during offender transfers
Minimum Qualifications
  • Two years of full-time experience with drug labeling, storage, or distribution
  • Current Pharmacy Technician (PHAT) or Provisional (PHATP) certification from the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy
Required Competencies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in English and creating accessible documents
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a Colorado correctional environment
  • Leadership experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Multidisciplinary pharmacy experience
